Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar produced by the body to retain moisture in the skin. In its synthetic form it is found in most consumer skincare products. When used as a dermal filler Juvéderm® can increase jawline definition, add volume to lift and contour the cheeks, improve the appearance of undereye hollows, smooth and soften wrinkles and folds, create fuller lips, reduce the appearance of lines around the mouth (perioral lines), and provide contour, shape and definition to the chin. Results are immediately visible and last between one and two years.
